¿Question #1016?
djflippy: Name a game in the top 100 that you dislike. Why don't you like it?

ocdspectrum: I'll stick to games I have played. My lowest rated top 100 is Root. I really want to like it and played it twice, but I don't think I understand all the factions well enough to enjoy it.
copcopps: Tzolkin because there's no catch up mechanic for a game that clearly needs one for it to be competitive.
Woelf: Le Havre - It felt like they took Agricola, and threw an entire extra layer of unnecessary stuff on top just because they could.
rayzg: Terraforming Mars. Too long. Not fun. Not interactive; I could probably say the same thing for almost the entire top 100 --- omg most of the answers were from 2006. No wonder there's so many mentions of Puerto Rico, T&E, and El Grande!
Blazur: Tzolk'in: Because booooooooooooring!
kathleenryan: tic tac toe
Spirit of 70: I dislike the 18XX games because of how unforgiving they are to new players. I'll play, and lose them just to be social, but I don't really enjoy them.
Felimid: Agricola. I can't understand why it's so popular. You're a farmer. And? If I were an actual farmer, I probably would be more in favor of it, but I'm not a farmer.
Alphadork: A Game of Thrones. I simply didn't enjoy it. However, it could have been the teacher...I would be willing to give it another try under different circumstances.
slate43: Advanced Squad Leader. Gave away all modules. Too time consuming; rules too immense; too fiddly; almost impossible to find someone to game with; and too much work. All of this equalled zero fun, for me.
tankexmortis: Agricola. Because it's slow-paced and I don't get to do what I want.
atrium: T&E. I just don't find it fun.
Harkonnen13: I could name more than 1, I'll pass on euros with pasted-on themes and mechanics "borrowed" from other games.
cgund: I'm really not that into games.
WatchmanX2000: Puerto Rico. Euros are blah
VikingFury: The Princes of Florence. I find it rather boring.
ozjesting: Power Grid. Too mathy...and not a big fan of connect it games
Jeff Horger: Tigris & Euphrates, because everyone else does
gberry: El Grande. It is just sooo dry.
georgeandpeggy: I usually do not go for gothic/dark/demon type games just because I do not want to go there and glorify anything that shouldn't
Orcoteuthis: El Grande. Egregious case of painted-on theme and the gameplay just strikes me as dull.
jbuergel: There aren't many: I'm not that wild about Torres, and I don't like Citadels. It's too random and pointless.
waza: Chess - too easy to get stuck trying to over analyse. I prefer where you can have a general strategy that works but you need to be able to compensate for random factors as well
Geosmores: Advanced Squad Leader (ASL), a little to long for me now
ironsizide: Settlers of Catan. Because the laws od probability have failed me every time in that game.
roo414: robo rally
DHEK: Modern Art. It hurts my head trying to juggle the numbers and think of what to do to win. It probably wouldn't hurt so much if I didn't think about what I did but just played by ear, but I'd probably end up losing badly.
Numskull: Settlers of Catan. No guaranteed income.
Chris Page: Bridge. It's taken too seriously, and there's too many bidding conventions to learn. Plus, good plays have been codified too much, and you're expected to know how to do them.
Aljovin: Advanced Squad Leader (ASL) Starter Kit #1 - I'm not into Wargames
bigbadsteve: that sounds like too much effort
Dorque: Puerto Rico. Bored silly.
brainrob: Settlers - a luck ridden abomination of a game
marshalljansen: Carcassonne. I don't like it because the tiles are the homes of millions of zombie virii that eat your brain after travelling there via pores in your fingers. These virii cause you to agonize over tile-placement decisions for up to 10 minutes, causing the others playing the game to fall asleep from boredom, which then allows the zombie virii to force the infected player to eat your brains while you lay there helpless... it's too dangerous for my blood.
BeatPosse: TransAmerica. When I play it feels like sorting toothpicks.
Helenoftroy: Settlers of Catan. It's three player and the woman I knew from work who played it was really snotty. So I never wanted to play it. Dumb reason, I know. We never have enough to play anyway and I try to stay away from gateway games.
thoia: St. Petersburg. Not sure really, I like a lot of card driven games, but for whatever reason not this one.
Archvile: Löwenherz. I think it's a bit dull.
BrokenNails_NZ: Bang - player elimination
SteveK2: Downtown: air war over Hanoi - the theme just doesn't interest me
Cerebus: ASL. Too complex.
Randy Cox: Citadelles. Takes too long (people deciding their role) and is just too random/chaotic for my tastes. Much like Bang, you just pick someone to gang up on sometimes.
POvidiusNaso: Tigris & Euphrates. Too much conflict and angry feelings from my group, and no one wants to invest the time in it. Still, I'm holding out hope.
Mikebegeta: no clue
Topdecker: Anything Squad Leader. It requires too much commitment.
sourwyrm: carcassonne, very unsatisfying
ssmooth: Chinatown. You're supposed to negotiate, but it's all too obvious what the things are worth.
Lord_Prussian: Samurai, because it gives me a headache.
Great Dane: There are too many to mention! Various reasons
Claytonius Maximus: Carcassonne. It's like a puzzle, except it's REALLY EASY.
shotokanguy: ASL, because it's just too much.
familygaming: Tigris & Euphrates is one among many. Too dry.
klellingson: For each game in the top 100 currently, either I have never played it, or I like it.
Defdamesdompi: Robo Rally, it sucks
2amp: never played anything in top 100
bluebehir: Ticket To Ride. Why on God's earth would I want to spend the next hour looking at a map of USA linking cities I've never even heard of and find out that the guy who went around the coast was going to win anyway?
Sceadeau: The princes of Florence. I don't like being a Renesainse era bookkeeper.
Karlsen: Heroscape - Miniatures
hibikir: St Petersburg. Random, bland, and almost decision-less
jimchris: Lord of the Rings. Just don't find it fun in any way.
snoozefest: the wargames? 'cause I don't like dealing with a lot of chit
scriptorum: Can't say there's any there I've played that I dislike. Least liked is St. Petersburg, just because after a while it seemed to have little depth.
heli: many of the 2-player war games
Windopaene: Web of Power. Despise the "first one in can't play there till next turn" rule
skrutsch: Go. I really just don't like pure strategy games. I like to have an excuse for losing!
puffinge: Maharaja, I don't like the way it makes me think and it's dry.
isolated: I don't like train games. There's a few there to choose from.
Aldie: Bridge... too hard for me.
Dave: Battle Cry. Takes too long to setup and put away for what you get out of it.
echoota: Dungeon Twister, for meta-reasons...
jpact: Memoir '44. I don't care for the lack of control due to the random draw of the order cards.
gnomehome: Check my ratings and comments
Jim_P: Was never that impressed with Villa Paletti
Wernazuma: La Cittá; can't really name the beast
crparis: I really don't see anything that I really, truly dislike..
viogression: Bridge. Never really liked it
fsumarc: bridge. boring
Blackwind: War of the Ring. Overrated drivel.
Zambo: Robo Rally. Too long and boring for my tastes.
TiNYTimIDFluffYBunnY: twilight imperium -too long
lexen: Ticket to Ride, it's just waiting for everyone else to take their turn the whole game long!
geberus: TI3, Christian Peterson is pretentious, and working as hard as he can to tank FFG
skelebone: I'm not too fond of wargames... outside my genres.
raolsson: Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation. It does not appeal to me
djlg: Warmachine. Fiddly, drawn-out procedures, expensive minatures, collectable, ...
nerman8r: Robo Rally. It's pretty complicated for a silly game, and none of my friends have liked it so far.
BobDodgerBlue: There are none that I dislike...
dakarp: Cities and Knights of Catan. It can go on forever, and I just don't find anything about it fun.
chaddyboy_2000: I avoid PR when possible. It's alright with casual gamers, but it's pretty lame with hardcore PR fans.
Shakar: I don't know.
ynnen: Ra. It lacks theme, the scoring system is horribly confounding, the bidding action is slow and the gameplay is tedious.
ValJor: War of the Ring. I don't like anything related to LotR
CDRodeffer: War of the Ring is too expensive, and probably too long as well.
jttm: PoF. Boring, overrated, most importantly: no fun
CortexBomb: Maharaja. It's too chaotic
louiseh: Acquire. Had a dreadful time on my one and only playing.
Ludocrazy: T&E and I really can't put my finger on why.
