So I've just started The Confederacy's Last Hurrah: Spring Hill, Franklin & Nashville by Wiley Sword. I'm interested in that campaign right now because I've just moved to the Nashville area and the place where I work is right about in the spot of the center of the Confederate battle line on the first day of the battle of Nashville. There's a roadside plaque about a mile down the road but other than that there is very little to remember the battle by. Interesting because this battle had more to do with bringing about the end of the war than any other.
