dakarp: If you could choose between being able to fly and being able to become invisible at will, which would you choose, and why? (bonus points to anyone who knows where that question came from.)

MartinWin: Fly. I'm too lazy to pull off my clothes everytime I want my ability to become useful.
Woelf: Of those two, flight probably. Preferably if it's in the form of self-levitation via telekinesis.

Zedsdead: Flying, hands down. I hate my commute. Why would anyone choose invisibility? Even if you ignore all the problems--you'd be blind (no light hitting you means no light activating the sensors in your retinas), your clothes and digesting food etc. would be visible, people and bikes and cars would keep running into you--even if you ignore that stuff, all invisibility is good for is checking out the girls' locker room after gym class. I'd rather soar with the eagles and save $4.18/gallon.

Der Ubermolch: When I think about it, invisibility sucks -- you'd have to walk around naked and cold and if you weren't impeccably clean people would know where you were... so, I'd take flying.
DHEK: I'd choose to be able to become invisible at will. It has much more practical use. Flying is pretty useful too, but it would be pretty obvious to others that you have some kind of superpower, which I think I would wanna avoid. I don't know where the question came from.

Even though I've seen "the invisible man" and can see there are problems, we ARE talking about "at will", and I'm assuming its invisible at all frequencies (including infra-red, heat radiation)...so I choose invisibility.

Sideburn: That fully depends on the strain it would take to fly. To be able to fly without muscle power would be silly. If flying would take to much energy I'd have to go with being able to become invisible. Otherwise I'd no doubt choose flying...
