¿Question #118?
ynnen: Which of your regular games is the hardest to explain to a first time player?

oldhoss: Most of my games are not overly complex: either WoTR or Lewis & Clark.

Cringing Dragon: GeekQuestions
pwilz: All of them. Some people are sooooo stupid.
resin: Dungeon Lords
bcooperok: Based upon the number of fistfights, probably Boomtown
kathleenryan: chess
xofour: I am glad you picked regular games. It's been so long since we had to explain i'm not certain. I am going to guess Age of Empires
JordanZS: Red November
Woelf: Probably Caylus or Puerto Rico - I'd never try teaching either of those to a non-gamer until they've been adequately "warmed up" with several others first. Even then, I'd make it clear that the first game of it is just for practice.
Zarion of Arabel: NiE
semer: It's actually a verbal game called 1-2-3, which people can never seem to catch on to.
locusshifter: Agricola
paulclarke339: Puerto Rico. Man, I hate teaching that.
rkd9150: reef encounter

brainrob: Don't have any 'regular' games as such
Kazin: Dungeon Quest... Sooo many tiny rules and stuff...
bekudno: Probably Amun Re, but it's not so bad. If my less regular games, definitely Die Macher, though I'm getting decent at explaining it.

Dave: 7th Sea CCG
sdownin: Nuclear War which has been combined with Nuclear Escalation which has been combined with Nuclear Proliferation. Too many special cards to try to explain. Even with a cheat sheet , newbies still have trouble grasping everything.

m_r_tyler: We play so many different games that few of them get played "regularly" (whatever that is). We play Bang! regularly at work and it is easy to explain except for the difference between a Mustang and an Appaloosa.
Zambo: Hmmm...Age of Steam, probably.
manowarplayer: Twilight Imperium

Reloaded: SL for sure...
Draugnar: Diplomacy
HBGlover: Tigris & Euphrates, easily.
CheetohFingers: Princes of Florence
EYE of NiGHT: 6 Nimmt. It's that whole card at the end of the row nearest your number thing. No, I'm wrong, it is Igel Argern. 3 simple rules and there is ALWAYS one thicko who just can't get it. Last time we played I had 3 THICKOS!
TamiWhitsett: I try not to explain games. Hardest to understand is any trick-taking games
