¿Question #1216?
Mozbink: What do you do when the novelty of board gaming is wearing off?
ocdspectrum: That’s not possible right? Find new gamers to play with?
oldhoss: Michael Flatley: Lord of the Dance
Zeven: It wears off!? Oh no! What are my options? Why didn't someone tell me earlier that this might happen! And they say I have no life now!
Narlgoth: Have a break. Have a KitKat. (damn you subliminal message advertising with you mind control making me put "have a kitkat" just because I put "have a break"! :- o
Wood4Sheep: You get another game. Each game is its own experience, so just picking up a new title can bring back all that fresh interest. If that doesn't do it, if the novelty of just gaming itself is all that keeps you interested, this might not be the hobby for you.
Woelf: Ha!
Hendal: tag the old lady
tankexmortis: If I needed novelty to enjoy something I'd never do the same thing twice.
Hector Vortac: Determine if gaming is a genuine interest or a fad; novelty. If you are coming to a place named 'Boardgamegeek' I would think it's more than just a novelty.
