isolated: Is Monopoly really that bad?

oldhoss: No. I think the badness is oversold. However, there are so many better games out there, that it's pretty much obsolete in my world.

Felimid: It's not terribly interesting as-is. My late father made a homemade Monopoly that included a limited Stock Exchange in the middle of the board (only 4 stocks). It was alot more interesting than Parker Brothers' version.
Thundergoat: I think it is fine for kids, I certainly played it enough. But yeah, it is pretty painful as an adult... it is just kind of boring.
