dbmurph22: What was the last movie you watched (DVD/Theater), and what did you think?

ocdspectrum: Ralph broke the Internet. Ok, for a kids movie.
Damjon: Aliens:Covenant. I had to stop halfway through. The Aliens franchise has turned into hack, unbelievable script writing. The visuals and effects are fantastic, but sheesh! How many times to teams of highly trained, profesional crews go "suddenly off pla" and then hysterically collapse when faced by problems? Hack writing at its worst.
Hendal: Firefly movie Serenity with my dad - loved it, but I have seen it before
BOBBYCAN: Battleship, on DVD. I was entertained.

Zedsdead: Day of the Animals, last night on DVD. It was awesome in its suckiness. Leslie Nielsen took off his shirt and wrestled a bear.
Ravenhoe: The Plague of Zombies. I did not know there very many good pre-Romero zombie movies
Felimid: "The Incredibles" (I watched it for the 2nd or 3rd time). I still think it's a great movie.
Jatoha: We went to see the Invention of Lying. It had funny parts, but it was trying too hard to be edgy, but not edgy and the ending was too predictable.
Spirit of 70: 'The Great Outdoors'. It was a bittersweet experience watching John Candy again, whom I still miss, but not one of his better films.

jessitron: Real Men. It was hilarious. It was fun to see the origin of some of the jokes that have infiltrated our culture.
Woelf: Forgetting Sarah Marshall (on DVD) - it was funny, but I have no particular desire to see it again
ZeroZilla: Sad to say, I think it may have been Wall-E. It was cute...I didn't expect so much 'robot love story'.

DHEK: World Trade Center. I thought that movie was above average. Won't win any awards though. I didn't know the main characters were the rescued. I thought they were going to be the rescuers / heroes...

Chris Barnard: The Bourne Identity. Really good movie. First saw it on a plane a few years back - best way to ruin a good film!

bluebehir: The last DVD I watched was "A Night to Remember" by Evergrey, and I enjoyed it. The last movie I watched was Revenge of the Sith and I was pleasantly surprised by its enjoyment factor and appeal.

dakarp: DVD: The Adventures of Robin Hood (The Errol Flynn version). I loved it (seen it before). It's a cliche, but they don't make them like that anymore. And the 1938 movie looked like it was shot yesterday, thanks to a fantastic transfer/restoration. In the theater, I saw Sin City. That was violent--really, really violent. Still, I thought it was a good movie.
Cal Mac: The Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy, which was OK, but nothing more. (Radio, TV and books were all far superior)
Con Man: Life Aquatic - Criterion DVD- Not my fave Wes Anderson but it was better the second time.

Dave: Hero on DVD. I thought it was as overrated as House of Flying Daggers - and I'm a huge fan of the director's older work.

shumyum: I Heart Huckabees (DVD). Ambitious but it doesn't follow through. It DOES have the single nastiest special effects shot that I've seen in a LONG time.
