blanor: Yes, a very simple nuclear variant. Every standard rule stands, but you can "burn" (turn in) a card AT ANY TIME and remove all but one army from the territory shown. Very simple rule that completely changes play of the game.

Mike A: Only Nuclear Risk when we get sick of it. Pretend that a bomb drops in the middle and blows all the armies off the entire map. Game over. Very satisfying. With more time on my hands, I also like the Giant Dice from Space variant where you roll the dice on the board until all the armies are knocked off of it.

Bearcat89: Several. "Nuclear Risk" was a bastardized mix of Risk, Nuclear War, Nucelar Escalation, and Nuclear Proliferation. That wasn't weird enough so I added in APCs, hovertanks, choppers, and fighter-bombers from Fortress America.
