¿Question #1592?
ejmowrer: Do you like the current 2 party system in the US?
ocdspectrum: I effing hate it.
BOBBYCAN: What's not to like?
MartinWin: No.
ZeroZilla: No, but I wouldn't like it better if there were another number in the front.
Woelf: It would be a lot better if there was a third or fourth option that wasn't automatically out of the running from the start.
Felimid: Anything is better than the stupid modern Tea Party folks. I think they've completely missed the point of why there was a Boston Tea Party during the American Revolutionary War.
Septic: No
Skwib: I think we need more parties than just 2. Where else will all the college kids do keg stands?
pwilz: I dunno. I can't really say I like it, but I don't seem to be getting up and trying to do something about it either, am I?
daveroswell: Since Dems are in power? Sorta, except I'm broke.
jessitron: no.
Phil Fleischmann: Yes, but that doesn't mean I like both of the two specific parties. And when you come right down to it, there is no "two-party system" - it's just that the vast majority of people vote for one of two parties. That's just the way it works.
vandemonium: Party on and party off? Yea, it's ok.
whac3: no
wolfman87: no
ricardofo: No.
sludgemariner: No, I've never been invited to either.
engdy: Nope, no sir, I don't
Sidewynnder: Yes.
Reish Galuta: Worst. System. Ever.
chockle: It's better than any other system I know of... but it's not perfect.
NateStraight: No
kingofthegrill: no
themagni: Oh, I thought you had just the one party.
DHEK: It would probably be better if there were more parties. 2 seems rather limited.
Butterbane: Why be forced to select the lesser of two evils? Let's have more parties! More choices for evil!
Snorii: no i dont
biggdork: Hells no!
jeffwolfe: No, it's fairly broken.
POvidiusNaso: Not really.
Ebon Wendigo: No
Panzer: No..I should be world dictator
dsmeyer: NO
Zacratorax: Nope
fellonmyhead: No
buffalospynovel: no
heavymetalhamster: no
dmomo: Meh.
bigbadsteve: we have 2 parties?!?
JonBen: I'll bring the keg, just tell me which party to go to.
scriptorum: Not particularly. A polarized party system is fairly worthless.
Ochobee: No, especially as the 2 parties differ only slightly and both seem to cater to the highest bidder at the expense of the people as a whole.
John3: no
Hoju: yes, it provides the rest of the world with entertainment
WatchmanX2000: sometimes yes, sometimes no, do you know what's in the brown paper bag?
brainrob: Not any more than I like the current 2 party system in the UK - it's too polarising.
Chris Page: Where's the second party?
jasta6: NO!
kjweimer: Ew, no!
LemonyFresh: Not really, but seems unavoidable.
Dorque: Nope, but it wouldn't work otherwise.
Domokun: Technically, it's not a two party system, just dominated by two parties. So, my answer is No, because there isn't one to like.
Tushratta: Yes.
Payne: No.
kimapesan: No
jellospike: maybe I would if those two parties were substancially different. Kerry & Bush were not the same, but their parties...
sourwyrm: no
dietevil: Nope
Mrcalcman: Yes
Great Dane: I don't care
The Unbeliever: 42
Wernazuma: Gladly, I'm European, living in a real democracy...oh, wait... never mind ;-)
skrutsch: No.
xlorp: It's really just one party, and I don't like it at all.
ThatFalafelGirl: no. go Green!
BaSL: no
Big A: no
shumyum: the system is fine, the parties suck
heli: politics isn't worth worrying about
ValJor: Not being an American, I don't care too much. However, two parties are just not enough, you need at least five to correctly represent the will of the people. Oh, and of course you would have to scrap this ridiculous "electoral college" of yours as well.
Lord_Prussian: It beats most alternatives, so yes, for the most part.
Belash: no
Lucimara: Not an american. But your system sucks.....
HappyProle: Oh yeah, politics in this country couldn't be better. I hope we can eventually get to a single-party system.
puffinge: The system is fine, it's the parties that suck.
Troymk1: Republican and Republican-lite?...sure
2amp: more parties = more booze
snoozefest: no
squonk: We have TWO??? Coulda fooled me.
MisterCranky: No, because how much can you freeload if you only go to 2 parties?
djlg: Yes. Makes it easier for us foriegners to predict who will be the chief dork.
PopeBrain: no
Wintergoblin: not really
Bearcat89: It's better than a pointy stick in the eye.
batman: It's horrible. I hate having to vote for the lesser of two dumbasses.
dilago: No, it's ridiculous. 2 party + first-past-the-post equals rule by minority. It's not a democracy. (happy not to live there)
Mike A: Having lived in a couple of multi-party system countries, oh yeah. It's a nice balance overall.
gnomehome: I'm not a US resident.
haraggan: It's a fucking disaster
AlorielLelyn: Hell NO
chaddyboy_2000: I don't care.
jens_hoppe: No
GuyHill: No, but I dont live there
netfilterz: There isn't a 2 party system in the US is there?
Jim_P: As a Canadian... I could care less... we have a multi-party system
tragicpoet: Hell yes, at least one has to have free booze
manowarplayer: Yes.
CDRodeffer: No
Blackwind: There's more than 2 parties in the US.
CortexBomb: *choke*
louiseh: None of my business.
Sideburn: That's not really the case, is it? Independent candidates can run for office as well, don't they?
jttm: No
BobDodgerBlue: I like half of it... Actually the 2 party system has been a great asset to the stability and prosperity of the US
skelebone: Meh, it's serviceable, but far from great.
