DHEK: Hmmm... I've not encountered any "fun" bidding systems, actually. They seem more or less about the same to me... perhaps the most "fun" one (if you can even call it that) is just a simple blind bidding mechanism.

vetinari7878: High Society as a single auction system, Modern Art for the variety of auctions in the game.
scriptorum: High Society. The fact that you cannot retract any part of your bet, and you only start with 11 bills of varying denominations, really give this game some interesting decisions.

PsyJam: I think that Modern Art covers the best methods of bidding/auctioning.. My particular favourite is the 'declared value' in that game, because it leaves an option to stick it to the auctioneer.

rdmasters: Expos. Two auction systems. One is manditory, standard auction, with the seller in charge. The other is optional, and blind. Good fun, especially when everything on display must go - and you have four blinds to play out ... trying to guess what to try to win (and how much it will take), and what to try to block (so you can re-sell it to the sucker later!)
