¿Question #1866?
Favre4MVP: It seems that Days of Wonder has really hit their stride. How long (if ever) before they put out a dud?

martidem: 27.6875 lunar cycles
Randy Cox: Didn't they do an alvin/monster thing?
Jbrady: Its bound to happen soon
Woelf: They've had their share of duds like any other publisher, but they do a good job of hiding them with those exceptional production values.
Critical Mass: they already have
Hector Vortac: I see a dud as a game that very few people consider good. Seems like DoW is not so prolific as to put out a bunch of titles so far. If and when they start publishing indiscriminately - I'd say about 7 years.
Blott: A dud is in the eye of the beholder. For a game that I will think is a dud...Not any time soon.
aleo09: it's possible, just a matter of time...
ronster0: um, maybe Tuesday.
le_cygne: Seems unlikely unless they enter into arms manufacture.
i7dealer: they already have. What's up with that pirate game?
DHEK: Probably not for a long time. No matter how good you are, you're only human and making mistakes is only human.
elirlandes: About two years, I should think.
leslauber: Depends on whose talking. I know several people who think they're putting out duds.
guslikesguinness: yesterday
rawdawg: hmm..
Cut & Space: 8 month
SisyphusX: They'll pull a Seinfeld and quit while they're ahead.
Hoju: as soon as I get sick of shadows over camelot (if ever)
jasta6: never................................................................................
Blacknightjj: if i could tell the future, do you think i would use my powers for this?
Big Bad Lex: -4 months SoCam
BeatPosse: They already have.
POvidiusNaso: -2 or 3 years. Dragonstones bombed.
KDSN: Im sure it will happen before long if the keep cloning Ticket to Ride
mrspank: It may never happen.
Fawkes: What do you consider a dud? Shadows of Camelot isn't so hot.
flyinghogfish: No idea
Loquutus: As soon as they try to 're-invent chess'.
rjburns3: 1 year
GI Joe: With any luck, never. They are the Blizzard of boardgame companies.
javelin98: Dunno. Everyone puts out a dud occassionally.
Jim_P: They've already got 4 duds
Regault: Define dud.
KnobDoctor: I haven't played all their games yet. How do I know they haven't?
jellospike: 1-2 years
sourwyrm: soon
GuyHill: 1 year
skrutsch: six months
AdamT: Do you know something we don't know?
scriptorum: Depends on what you think of Queen's Necklace, now doesn't it?
Bearcat89: Have you heard of their new game "Shark Jumping"? I'll bet that will be a stinker.
ThatFalafelGirl: soon
glookose: in my opinion they have a couple of duds already
mandj2001: 5.....4.......3.........
Lord_Prussian: Not too long
snoozefest: 3yrs
Jern: Havn't they?
UhhhClem: There is a non-crazy argument to be made for Memoir 44 being a dud.
AWildEep: More power to them if they don't ( and me, cause I will have good games)
dakarp: I hope never! They make some fantastic games.
gnomehome: It depends on how money hungry they get
sumo: Pretty sure they are pure dud so far, so odd question. I would need to check this statement.
MisterCranky: What do you call Fist of Dragonstones? For that matter, Gang of Four is pretty useless. I'm a fan of Terra, but I know many people who'd call that a dud.
Reloaded: dunno but I hope they keep cranking out the hits...
heli: hmm, that's what was said about Alea in 2002...
puffinge: They have already released several games I don't like.
Ludocrazy: I hope never
CDRodeffer: I wish them the best.
djlg: Next year.
jttm: Soon
Dave: I haven't been overly impressed by Queen's Necklace and Gang of Four. In general, DoW has great style, but I haven't been blown away by the substance.
isbert: give them another year
Ebonwoulfe: I can see it now... "Days of Wonder jumps the shark"... but... they'll probably release a few moderately good ones between great ones, but no duds...
Spielfreak: Terra
Blackwind: Everyone puts out a dud.
CortexBomb: I guess that's a matter of perspective. I don't think they've really done a lot of stuff that I would call fantastic, or even interesting for my tastes.
chaddyboy_2000: Whenever they decide to produce a game called "Silly Seamstresses".
skelebone: Oh, the duds will come, it's nearly inevitable; but duds are always in the eye of the beholder.
