Phil%20Fleischmann: Yes, people eat pumpkin seeds directly, all the time. They are roasted and usually salted, and they are yummy. They might be good infused with Scotch, although the roasting process would probably remove all the alcohol, but it would have some potentially positive effect on the flavor.
Woelf: Scotch with pumpkin seeds in it sounds like a knock-off of Skittlebräu. Crunchy liquids in general are a bad idea. Scotch-infused pumpkin seeds implies people go around eating pumpkin seeds directly, which is even worse, and it's going to take a lot more than the addition of Scotch to make that a good idea.
