¿Question #220324?
rayzg: How often do you accompany the dinners you make at home with bread? I often have rice as my main carbohydrate for dinner, so I don’t often eat bread with my dinner.
flaeryn: None if I can help it. Occasionally the meals I pick from Hello Fresh will come with them when I otherwise like the meal, but I usually will ignore the bread when I eat out or at someone else's house. Really trying to cut down on the wheat, here.
Jedadeana: I didn't grow up having bread as a side in meals unless it was garlic bread (when eating Italian food), or for certain occasions like Thanksgiving. But I recently got a small bread machine and have had fun trying different recipes. I'm eating bread more often now because of that, and because I mix flavored butters to use on the various breads (like honey butter with a bit of cinnamon, or a nice garlic and basil butter, etc).
MABBY: More than it should. My wife is totally against double carbs but I'll have rice AND naan, thank-you. (she skips the rice, and skips the bread with pasta))
Woelf: Garlic bread often happens with spaghetti, but otherwise it's not usually specifically included.
pricero1: I always have breads with Indian food, but otherwise only when I have a dinner of cheeses and charcuterie.
mattomaw: Reasonably often. Stews and soups always have bread. Cuzzas always have naan bread.
TomTi89: Very rarely, outside of naan bread with curries.
Ruesailmana: Never. It's rice mostly. A form of potatoes sometimes. And pastas, but they are more difficult with my food intolerances.
imyourskribe: Every few months maybe. The grocery store has a nice bakery that I buy from frequently, but usually it’s for sharing at game nights. Infrequently for dinner. Though I did get a baguette for last night’s meal.
0Shea0: Rice or quinoa is the norm. Potatoes after that. Bread maybe once a year.
