rayzg: Only when I can't see the stage because the people in front of me are giving standing ovations. Or if I'm sitting in the front row and everyone around me is standing.
kswingruber: On the rare occasion, when the performance is REALLY outstanding. Seems here in the Portland area, people will jump and give standing ovations for just about anything (the only concert-type-things I attend is classical music related stuff). I guess the audiences here are full of hay-seeds that don't get out much...
