rayzg: In Quebec, many daycares are called “garderie éducative,” which literally means educational daycare. Wouldn’t children find a non-educational daycare way, way more fun?

MABBY: It's named that for the parents' sake, because they feel superior leaving their kid at somewhere educational. In reality, as soon as they go to work the kids have fun and everyone ignores the educational part.
