¿Question #220798?
PolarDad: I have a 6 hour drive tomorrow to attend a family wedding. What is the furthest you have driven to attend a wedding?

pricero1: When I lived in the US, I flew back to the UK to a wedding. In terms of driving, I had a 12 hour drive plus ferry to get to my brother-in-law's wedding.
TomTi89: In recent memory, only around 30 - 45 minutes. Vague memories of family driving a bus to get to a wedding, but don't remember where that was or how long the trip was. Something to ask my family about!
pwilz: From here to Virginia.
Inkedad: From San Diego, CA to Salem, OR.
RavingLoon: Longest I've driven myself? Maybe an hour, tops. Longest I've been in a car (though not always driving) to get to a wedding? About 8 1/2 hours.
rayzg: The longest drive to a wedding was to a suburb. The furthest I travelled for a wedding was from Montreal to Victoria.
Woelf: Shortly after college (pre-kids), four of us drove together from Wisconsin to Connecticut for a friend's wedding. Stacy and one of the friends that travelled with us were in the wedding party, so skipping it wasn't an option.
RealGuest: Argentina
mattomaw: From West Cork to Sussex.
oriecat: If by driven I can mean flew, that would be from PDX to Budapest.
