¿Question #220815?
PolarDad: CONTEST Let's turn my misery into fun. In a top ten poor timing move, I got sick last night...massive drainage, sore throat, sinus pain. I'm guessing that I just have a basic sinus infection. However, since my wife and I are supposed to travel out of state for a wedding, I'm going to the doctor this morning to make sure it isn't anything to worry about. Would you like to test your doctor skills? What's your diagnosis? Sinus infection? Flu? Covid? Botulism? Some other rare tropical disease? 20gg to every correct guess.

PolarDad: CONTEST OVER! They tested me for everything. Put 2 foot long swabs in nearly every orifice I have in my face. No strep, no Covid, no flu. I have a sinus infection. Prescription of antibiotics and a steroid shot in my bum and I'm ready to go. Thanks for playing!
RealGuest: If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck and drains like a sinus infection, it's probably a sinus infection.
Woelf: Let's go with Strep. // ADDED: Magik already covered the bacterial stuff, so include strep in the fun cocktail of disease that was dragged to school by students.
mattomaw: Definitely snotville.
Jedadeana: Allergies! Probably not... but no one else said it.... (@Kyle- Strep doesn't have post nasal drip, etc)
kswingruber: Bog Standard Cold VIRUS (no need for anti-biotics)... treat a cold and it will go away in a mere week, do nothing and expect it to linger for about 7 days.
magikaru: Bacterial infection of some kind. Antibiotics are in your future
pricero1: A really bad cold. Eat an apple.
