¿Question #220851?
rayzg: Have you ever spoiled your ballot? I just did that today for borough mayor. Representatives from two parties (there are political parties in Montreal municipal elections) either wore their masks improperly or didn’t bother wearing them at all when they came to my door, so I refused to vote for them. I wasn’t sure whether the third candidate was an independent or not; her name doesn’t appear at all on her supposed party’s web site. I had to guess what her platform was based on posts on her Facebook and Twitter page. And the fourth candidate represents a party who doesn’t want to add new bike paths until the current ones are safer, which made zero sense to me as a bike path is infinitely safer than a road without one. Worse, with regards to homelessness, all their website has to say about that is to stay tuned, more to come!

pwilz: I think I've written in Randy Cox once or twice. Call it spoiling if you want.
pricero1: I'd rather abstain than spoil my ballot. No matter whether you think that all the candidates are dicks, you might as well vote for the one you think is slightly less of a dick.
