Tim Synge: What are your views on fireworks?

pwilz: I have this thing I do where I cut a beer can's top off, drill a hole in the bottom. Fit a firecracker through the hole. Put the thing in a 5 gallon bucket filled with enough water to have the can about half submersed, and light the firecracker. It shoots the can up into the air using the same principle as a firearm. Lots of fun. Kids chase it around, and firecrackers only cost a couple bucks for a whole pack, so you can kill an afternoon with it.

Woelf: I like watching them, but won't go out of my way to find them. They get annoying when the neighbors are setting them off randomly every 15-20 minutes multiple nights per week for no apparent reason.
