mr3d: I propose a game. Open incognito mode and go to the youtube front page. Browse a bit until you find a video that would be the absolute worse recommendation for you to watch. Click on that video. Only using youtube suggestions, how many videos do you need to go through until it starts to recommend one you'd actually want to watch? (It took me 7 videos to go from Justin Bieber to Naruto)

imyourskribe: Way too long. I started at “ Doctor Reacts To The Worst TikTok Medical Advice” and took about three clicks to get to a Minecraft video. I have no interest, but I figured it would get me into gaming related stuff and on to a Geoff-friendly video or two. Turns out that Minecraft is a void you can’t escape from. It took me until about video 12 to get anything not Minecraft related. After sitting through a few clicks of five nights at Freddy’s, I eventually got to some Zelda stuff. Though as much as I love Zelda, I’m not interested in videos. By click seventeen I got to a video of the evolution of Nintendo through the years. It was a 30 minute video, which I’m unlikely to actually watch most or all of, but the subject matter was interesting. So I guess 17.
