Gilgermesh: I saw a drunk lady do a hit and run in a parking lot. Wrote down her license plate and reported it to the police. Got a nice thank you letter in the mail a few weeks later from the other car's owner.
pwilz: Somebody waked around the neighborhood stealing change out of people's open cars. One was mine. They eventually got caught, and I got a big gross looking bag of change back.
Phil%20Fleischmann: Probably, but only indirectly. When I was mugged in New York, the guy used my phone card to make six calls. That could probably help find him, starting with knowing the phone numbers of six of his friends.
