PolarDad: When was the last time someone kicked you?

TomTi89: Several years ago I did Taekwondo. One day, maybe half a year in, I had to fight someone which a lot more experience. He was a red belt. In our system a red belt was considered to have the same knowledge as a black belt, but did not have the restraint worthy of black, and so was a danger to oneself and to others. He proved that against me. It was supposed to be kicks to the body only. No shots to the head, like in higher level competition. He kicked me in the face. My nose bled (it does that quite easily to be fair). I am proud though, because none of my blood fell onto my uniform. Instead, I somehow got it on his. More red for him to wear :D
