¿Question #221919?
notafish: What do you remember of your first road trip?
mommy_shark: I once swam across the Atlantic!
TomTi89: Not sure if it would count as a road trip, but the longest trip I've been on was only a few year ago. 4ish hours to get to the new home of our friends who used to live in the same town as us. No really interesting stories from that one. But, I remember when I was a teenager, I used to travel in the back of a van. It had a bench in the back, but no seat belt or any other way to secure yourself. The back doors had windows, so if you saw a police car you had to drop to the floor so we wouldn't get in trouble. Good times! :D EDIT: hold up, I've got a little confused. I remember reading that British English and American English don't necessarily agree on "van". I'm talking about this, to be clear https://boardgamegeek.com/image/6556761/tomti89
pricero1: Getting stopped three times for speeding.
sparkous: I don't remember which one was THE first.
PolarDad: I don't
pwilz: A mattress in the back of the station wagon.
MABBY: It was weird-- Jack kept sniffing his finger.
Woelf: I still have a vague memory of a coach bus leaning sideways in a ditch against a line of trees, from a family vacation we took when I was like 5 years old.
