¿Question #2220?
chaddyboy_2000: Do you think BGG would gain more users if they offered a free package of bologna upon registration? Oscar Meyer of course.

Hendal: yes I do, but to be honest I do not think it would be users we want around here, just my thought on it
MRSA_Major: only if there is a packet of mayonnaise per slice.
pricero1: Plenty of sauce over at GQs.
Fairer Sex: bacon, go for the bacon
holepuncher: Yes.
kathleenryan: It can't hurt.
Steerpike.Instance: I think it should offer a free girlfriend or a bar of soap
Spirit of 70: No. Though free ham would be a different story.
Daezee: They would have lost this one. Ick!
Woelf: Only if it was applied retroactively to anyone that had registered within the past few years.
MotorYogurt: no doubt
pwilz: No, but I think it would probably make the Digg front page for about 4 hours.
3NA5Ni: no.
sludgemariner: I would leave, I hate the stuff
Eclectic Minnesotan: Maybe there could be a choose your gift kind of thing. The other two being braunschweiger and head cheese.
cgund: Only if it's the fat-free kind. My bird loves that stuff.
DKahnt: .... don't like bologna
42ndSSD: Let us apply simple economics to your proposition. Suppose I, as BGG, gave every poor schmuck who registered, a free package of "bologna" (whatever that is). The market would be flooded with bologna. Bologna would lose value quite rapidly, and soon no one would want it because everyone had too much. Thus, no.
ZeroZilla: Yes, but do we really need the contributions of those mindless meat-grubbing drones?
DHEK: Yes of course! Something free will definitely draw in more people, even if only to get the freebie.
Cordingley: No.
nerotora: a free pizza would be preferable
POvidiusNaso: I kind of doubt it.
cluegirl: OH YEAH,....ADD SOME PICKLES AND MORE PEOPLE WOULD BE SOLD!
Bearcat89: Yet another brilliant question.
mcross: Only if they sent all the packages to you
PsyJam: I would be concerned with the quality -- who's going to be so quick to eat free, air-mailed bologna from some stranger? I think Pez would be better. ;)
Numskull: Bologna lover, eh? Is that why you shit your pants? Too many visits to your friend Oscar?
vampywife: i'm not sure that's the best way to get more registration.
Lardarse: No
Nekura: Maybe if it was a nice corned beef
FrozenHoHos: Prosciutto
xlorp: Get with the program, it should be a credit at Hormel for Spam.
Blacknightjj: would it be fresh.........or frozen?
brainrob: Inane again
jasta6: Na! make it Salami
MochaKimono: Eeewww.
calbond: man some of these questions suck
thegroff: euhh... yes?
GI Joe: No-- most gamers are vegetarian. Didn't you know that?
Thedalek: Yes, but not of BoardGame fans.
Topdecker: Only if cut and cubed into the shape of a d6.
sourwyrm: i think that would scare people away
Android: I don't think so. Have you actually tried that crap? Now give away some nice oven roast turkey, then you're talking!
Reloaded: I'll have to say no Alex...
bekudno: eewww
verandi: maybe
skrutsch: No.
Lord_Prussian: Yes.
Ebon Wendigo: It couldn't hurt.
BaSL: If bologna is a game: yes. If it's the city: yes. If it's something else: wat is it?
kennyb: bologna or baloney....
ValJor: Yes
mandj2001: Oh, I wish I was an Oscar Meyer weiner..... (yeah, you are all singing it now)
dpuskas73: Yes
djlg: No. Some of us are vegetarians for a start.
Belash: yes
Cavedog_pdx: There's a hidden meaning in this question isn't there?
MisterCranky: I think they might gain more idiots who like bologna.
4wire: of course. with some blue cheese.
2amp: no
snoozefest: all your base are belong to us
Karlsen: No
jmagnini: yes
dakarp: do we really want users who are only in it for the bologna?
puffinge: Would I have to drive somewhere and listen to speeches to get it?
thoia: I'd lean toward a pimento loaf angle actually.
gnomehome: Bologna lovers would flock to this board.
darthcliff: I'm still waiting for mine
CDRodeffer: I doubt it.
jttm: No
AlorielLelyn: They would lose me and lose a lot of money in the process since they'd have to send out all that bologna overseas to soooo many people.
CortexBomb: I would like to say no, but unfortunately I think the site would receive a massive influx of new users
Spielfreak: no
tragicpoet: No, do you know how much it costs to ship bologna?
skelebone: Bah, Herr Oskar Meyer is crap.
Blackwind: sure...I'd sign up.
chaddyboy_2000: Definitely.
