¿Question #222046?
notafish: How many syllables in a word communicate "importance" to you?

pricero1: If a German word doesn't have at least 10 syllables, it's not really trying.
PolarDad: One of the most important has only one...Love
purplewurple: Douglas Hofstadter wrote about why "the" is "the" and "antidisestablishmentarianism" is "antidisestablishmentarianism". It could have been the other way around, but "Look out! There's a tiger behind antidisestablishmentaaaaaaaagh...!" would quickly convince anyone that you need short words for the important stuff.
