RealGuest: How was the concert?

rayzg: The concert I saw at St. Joseph's Oratory wasn't a pleasant experience. The oratory itself is located on top of a very large hill and I stupidly decided to bike up it, which gave me a mild asthma attack. The chuch itself is massive; it's the largest in Canada. However, the acoustic weren't great for the Baroque ensemble; lots of echos. But the organ music was lovely.
PolarDad: Very good. Longer than I preferred. The high school band is split into four bands. My kids were in the first two so the last half of the concert was just other people's kids but they did very well. The Ireland info meeting followed. That soured things a bit. :)
