0Shea0: We are thinking of traveling during the holidays and are worried about our house being empty. I was thinking it would be best to leave a child behind to construct an elaborate system of booby traps to thwart burglars. Do you think the 5 year old or the 12 year old would be a better deterrent?

TomTi89: Leave me. I can't even go about my daily activities without injuring myself or damaging things, so burglars would pose no threat. I only ask that I can peruse your games & play any solo ones, and of course eat your food.
Woelf: Better leave them both. The 5-year-old will be better with coming with creative anti-burglar ideas, while the 12-year-old will be much better at implementing the plans and actually setting up the traps.
