oriecat: Yes, when I was growing up my friend Jill's family did it.
mattomaw: We used to a good few years ago when we did not have electricity. Quite nice really. Certainly never left the room with them on!
RealGuest: No, but then again, I can't think of anyone that burned their house down either.
Woelf: I've seen some trees with candles on them, but have only seen lit ones in old photos.
