Woelf: Yeah, those suck. At one point the trick to getting those images was to include it as a single frame at the start or end, but maybe that's not even required anymore. I try to avoid YouTube videos in general at this point, unless there's something specific that I'm actively seeking out
PolarDad: I think I did a couple times but then realized that they never deliver what they hint at so I ignore them all now.
freechinanow: Ok. It’s a bit of a long-winded question. But there has to be some psychological evidence somewhere regarding this phenomenon, cause lots of shit videos use “The Big Red Arrow” to make them look important. “6 Easter Eggs You Never Noticed In The Dark Knight” or something like that. But the representative image -never- appears in the video. Also… any video which says someone DESTROYS someone else. Usually an interview or debate. And the content never shows them making that degree of argument. Anyway, I just avoid these videos now. It’s a trick so overused now that I feel it immediately highlights a video that isn’t worth it.
