¿Question #222670?
freechinanow: On the topic of videos, there’s must be big ad-generated money in videos that show people getting kicked off of planes who won’t wear their masks, because I’ve come across at least two now where there’s subtle indications they are fake, but clearly these actors have rented an airplane set to film on. It’s crazy there are groups out there that figure out the type of “clickbait” videos generate a lot of hits, and so they generate their own to make revenue. Crazy?

Woelf: Sadly, the days of randomly-captured genuine events are behind us. Videos that are faked, staged, or set up in some way are so numerous and common now that they cast doubt even on legitimate ones.
PolarDad: Yeah, I've been sucked into a couple of those obviously fake videos that then drag out forever. Can't figure out the purpose. Highly annoying.
freechinanow: Some of the clues are tightly-focused videos that rarely if ever pull away from the action. And for the times they do, there’s no one in the other seats. Also, all the shutters on the “plane” are pulled down. Everyone on the plane are about the same age (20s-30s). No children, etc. It’s super weird, but with millions of “clicks” who can guess how much money these videos make! It’s such a weird business and so uniquely 21st century that I find it hugely novel and strange and weird.
