PolarDad: Today, two of my children and I are going to a board game cafe. Have you ever been to one?

pwilz: Sort of. There was a kind of 'fan bar' around here for a while that I played games at once. Fun fact: It could not serve liquor because it was within a short distance of a church. Fun fact: I went to a charity auction at a church a week later and won a basket of liquor.
oriecat: Yes, I've been to one in Athens, and one in Vancouver, BC. And one here in Portland.
Ruesailmana: Yes, several ones. I remember two in Edinburgh, one in Alkmaar, one in Lissabon. I might have visited more, but my brain isn't working at the moment.

Woelf: I've been to a few coffee shops that had a couple games available to use, but so far never a dedicated board game cafe. I'd like to at some point, but not with a pandemic still raging.
