¿Question #222776?
freechinanow: So... why does Chit Chat still exist? It seems their code has been updated for BGG 2.0. Its format is somewhat similar to GQ, in that BGG could duplicate its code easily enough for GQ. And it seems to have the same commerical viability (zero) as GQ. So why are they not on the chopping block while we still have to bear witness to this f!cking pink banner?
pricero1: We have special code that needs special maintainance. We also subvert time and space. We must be stopped. As soon as they get around to it.
RealGuest: I would ask more broadly why does BGG still exist? If I want a cold database, I'll use spreadsheets. It was the community that made it special. That's been torn down piece by piece.
0Shea0: I agree. I scanned it for a new EPYC game and no one from EPYC has peeped about drawin the draws since last year. Obviosly no one uses chit chat in a meaningful way anymore.
oriecat: Well Chit Chat is just a forum, so it follows all the other forums formats, so it is easy to keep updated. And yes, using a forum for GQ is the best next option.
