rayzg: What kind or kinds of blankets do you use in bed? A duvet (with duvet cover)? A quilt? Several blankets of various thicknesses?

bakermouse: Sheet, blanket, 2 quilts in the winter. (i get cold)
0Shea0: A bedframe, a box spring, a matrress, a Polardad, and a flat sheet if anything at all. But that is life here under pdad's bed. If it gets cold I just snuggle closer to Magikaru for warmth.
RealGuest: A sheet and I think it is a duvet in the winter. A sheet and maybe a quilt the rest of the year.
oriecat: Wow, I'm shocked by how little people use. I have flannel sheets, topped with a rather thin soft stretchy blanket, topped by my thick plush electric blanket that doesn't work anymore, topped by a quilt my mom made.
BOBBYCAN: One soft cottony blanket and one nice smooth cool sheet.
PolarDad: Far too hot natured for a blanket. I'll use a flat sheet...if anything.
Gilgermesh: A weighted blanked. Buy a heavy one and thank me later.
imyourskribe: Duvet for as many months of the year as I can get away with. Quilted blanket during the summer.
Jedadeana: Ever since I was introduced/used a comforter (duvet) for the first time in Denmark during a university study abroad, I have loved using a lightweight one combined with jersey knit bed sheets. My current partner is always very cold though, while I'm naturally a furnace, so I've decided to try using a lightweight "summer" twin sized comforter and a twin sized winter/warm comforter (both tied together) inside a king-sized duvet cover to see if that will work for us. Currently we've just had jersey sheets and a minky/velvety blanket with sherpa/fluffy lining and it's been making me sweat to death while he's still a bit cold (despite him wearing layers of warm pjs too). The new comforters and duvet cover should be arriving later this week. I really hope it works!
