¿Question #223221?
rayzg: What do you add to a jar of store-bought pasta sauce to make it more substantial or delicious? Today, I tried adding cooked jumbo lima beans and grated cheddar cheese. (I usually add ground beef and onions.). It was just OK.

MABBY: It's so simple to make your own sauce from canned crushed tomatoes that I've never bought pasta sauce from a store.
Woelf: Seasoned salt is always a great addition.
BOBBYCAN: With Ragu I add hamburger that has mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and whatever else I find to throw in. But no beans. Get outa town with your beans, Ray.
imyourskribe: Recently I’ve been using Impossible “beef”. It’s really good
Ruesailmana: I... never used store-bought pasta sauce
pricero1: I don't understand the concept of buying a pasta sauce.
RavingLoon: Oregano and red pepper.
oriecat: Meatless meatballs and serve on a bed of fresh spinach.
