¿Question #223227?
pricero1: Which is your favourite / favorite tool in your toolbox?
imyourskribe: Impact driver. Best tool-related purchase I’ve made in a looooong time
oriecat: My favorite tool doesn't fit in the toolbox (aka compound miter saw) and most of my other tools are also not in a toolbox, because I'm lazy and messy and don't put things away.
rayzg: I have multiple toolboxes depending on their intendend purpose. For my bike repair tool box, I think it would be my "fouth-hand" or a clamp that helps me keep cable tension. For my 3D printer toolbox, I think it's my my mini screwdriver and socket set. For my paper-crafting toolbox, my cork-backed metal ruler (although it doesn't fit in the box). I'm starting a new sewing toolbox for my new sewing machine, but I'll decide on my favourite tool once I'm finished my first project.
mattomaw: My favourite tool I own is a six foot long, thick, round metal bar with a point on one end and a chisel end on the other. This is an amazing multipurpose tool for doing all kind of heavy jobs. From moving and lifting heavy objects, digging into hard stoney ground, digging out large tree stumps and root balls from the ground. To fencing and making railway tracks. The list of jobs is endless. The most essential tool for anyone who works the land with their bare hands. Two bars increases the work capability by a factor of 4 at least! My girlfriend and I have dug rocks weighing more than a ton out of the ground and moved then large distances with just two bars. We have cleared an acre and a half of eight foot high tenacious gorse with just two bars. Simply the most practical, useful, most treasured lump of metal anyone could ever own. And all for 15 quid!!!!!!! WHAT A BARGAIN!!! Unfortunately, due to the constant profit demands of our ridiculously childlike society, these bars are now made thinner and with inferior metal and are still more expensive than they were. As a result, they bend alot easier, whereupon they become defunct of use, so you have to buy another shite quality one. I hate this crap!!!!!! My first bar I had for 20 years! The work that bar did was immense! But nowadays, stick a modern bar under a big stone and lever it, and BBLLRRGGH - BENT BLOODY BAR!!!! And that is nothing compared to my treasured wheelbarrow. You used to get wheelbarrows made out of thick folded steel sheet - the old Black Barrow! You could chuck massive rocks in there from a distance of six feet until hell froze over, and that black beauty would not mind. Strong! Staunch! Dependable! On and on it would toil for you, and never complain! A true companion work friend! But now? Oh no! No, no, no! All you buy now are crappy, weak, thin metal pressed barrows that collapse instantly under any form of vaguely heavy work. "Oh no Mr. Matt, please, please don't throw that rock into me!!! It can hurt my delicate skin! Please place it in oh so gently even though that will trash your back.". "Poo on you wussy barrow" I say, as I launch a mook of a boulder into it! " Do your work! It is the fault of your creator you are so flimsy!" I rant, as I continue to harbour my resentment of the profit motive that causes this ridiculousness and pours shame on the good name of the Black Barrow!!!!! Rant over.
TomTi89: I received a set of tools for Christmas. They are all made of chocolate. Not opened it yet, but I suspect they will all be my favourite.
