¿Question #223239?
freechinanow: Welp! My kid tested positive for COVID. Both my wife and I have tested negative (so far). Any tips for keeping my already unraveling sanity?

Phil%20Fleischmann: Does the kid have any serious respiratory conditions? Or any other serious health issues? If not, don't worry about it. The kid will recover and have stronger protection than the vaccine provides.
mr3d: It helps to keep in touch with family and friends and talk about it. Hopefully it does not develop into something serious and you are all back on track in no time.
mattomaw: I don't really know what to say, but I do wish you well and that everything turns out ok.
pricero1: Tht must be really tricky. Kids usually cope well with it. However, what she'd really like from you is a cuddle and that's the real difficulty.
Ruesailmana: Aaaawwwww!!! Heel veel sterkte! I have no tips.... at all....
sparkous: From my personal experience, when we realized that there was covid in the house (my kids sick), we mostly organized ourselves for afterwards in case we were sick and tired ourselves. This has been the case, so what we were able to do before we got tired did us a favor in a way. We also used an oximeter, it is very useful to monitor yourself during a covid.
Woelf: You should have deleted the picture of Momo when you had the chance. Seriously though, that sucks, and I don't have a good answer. Hopefully her symptoms are mild and doesn't last, and also that you two don't get it (or get it bad) either.
notafish: Boo! I vote cuddles with your wife and maybe some Bob Newhart comedy routines for your ears. I hope your kid recovers soon and that if you get COVID, it will be mild.
