notafish: Would you wear a caftan to the opera?

rayzg: I don't own a caftan so probably not. I typically bike to the opera and it appears that it wouldn't be a good article of clothing to wear when biking. Too hot in the summer and can get dirtied too easily in the winter by splattered slush.
