RealGuest: Have you seen the upcoming changes to the BGG Marketplace?

kswingruber: I haven't, but based on the other "improvments" over the past few years, I sure it sucks.
Woelf: I've only used the marketplace once or twice ever. Is there a thread discussing the changes somewhere? ADDED: Never mind, found it... on reddit. The jump in fees doesn't really affect me directly, but I can definitely understand why people are pissed. I would assume there will be a significant jump in people making their final sales off-the-books or at least elsewhere to avoid the upcharges.
pwilz: My wife briefly described them to me. I can't say I like it, but I see it as and end to the 'Wild West' of the internet, similarly to the end of Geek Questions.
RavingLoon: Yes. I'm still waiting for an official announcement to set things in stone, but if things go the way it seems they are I'll probably stop buying on BGG.
