Another deathstar (but like this one could wipe out like 10 Planets with beams of energy that wiggle through space) 2. One good jedi and One bad one and they're related somehow.......If they could just do these two totally original things I really think that Star Wars could be taken to the next level

RealGuest: Well, there was that one with all the clones. And there were lots of Death Stars blowing things up and getting blown up. And lightsaber duels and such. Wars proper, though, maybe not so much.
RavingLoon: Once you get into the EU then you'll find many of the planets and systems are perpetually involved in all sorts of civil and interplanetary wars.

Woelf: The Clone War was really the only full-scale, galaxy-wide war. Everything else was either localized to a specific planet/system, or involved a dominant force (The Empire, The First Order, arguably The New Republic) dealing with separate insurgencies and rebellions, which erupted into a few decisive battles.
