Woelf: Baxter, but even before the pandemic, most people we knew and/or visited regularly didn't have cats or pets at all. The only other cat that comes to mind is my sister's cat, Carly, but it always had a very adversarial personality, the kind that would tolerate attention/affection for approximately three seconds (enough for two or three pets) before getting grumpy and trying to bite or claw.
MABBY: As long as you don't greet the owner and call out-- "Hello Martin! I'd like to pet your knob please!"
