rayzg: Among this winter sports – ice skating, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing – which do you prefer? I used to hate ice skating until one friend introduced me to a brand of skates that doesn’t give you intense pain. Among the three, I could be closer to nature more away from people with snowshoeing, but there aren’t a lot of forests near me. All the large parks in Montreal offer cross-country skiing in the winter, but most city parks are sparse with trees.

Woelf: I've only cross-country skied a few times, but really enjoyed it. Snowshoeing and ice skating were fun too, but not as fun.
0Shea0: Skied with my wife this afternoon, then took the kids to the lake and went skating.....now I feel like I should go for an evening snowshoe to hit the trifecta!
