¿Question #223891?
PolarDad: CONTEST! I am polling my 6th graders (11 and 12 year olds) today. I'm asking them how many social media accounts they have personally. What do you think the average will be for this age? First person to correctly guess will win 25gg. If no one guesses correctly by the end of the day, closest guess wins.

MABBY: I'll go with FIVE, even though I think it might be four. Edit: Yeah me! The reward rightfully goes to Jeda but I just wanted to be correct, so points for that.
PolarDad: @Mindy-I don't expect it to hit the 6th graders but older teens have multiple accounts on a social media platform. For instance, My youngest has 5 Instagram accounts. One is personal, one is what kids call a "Spam account" that they give out to pages or people that will send them a lot of garbage they don't want to see on their personal or when they want to 'spam' a lot of their friends with something, one that is her hobby account where she does all her art and stays anonymous, one she runs for our church youth group, and another she uses for just band things. Kids don't have just one account per outlet any more. It is crazy. //CONTEST OVER: Jeda wins. The average was 4.6 but rounded up to 5. For comparison, my 7th graders averaged 7.1 social media accounts. Congrats Jeda!

RavingLoon: Edit: Five Instagram accounts!? I mean there are more sock puppets on BGG then that affiliated with me, but I don't use most of them for more than the occasional joke. I'll amend my guess to six.
magikaru: 2.65
mr3d: 3.5
oriecat: Man, if it's actually higher than 4 or 5, I'm gonna be sitting here like an old person wondering about what other sites the kids are using these days that I've never heard of. Or if they went back to MySpace.
Woelf: Average of 4 *reported*. Actual average should be higher because they either forget about some or don't consider them social media (would you count GQ or even BGG for yourself?)
Jedadeana: 5
