0Shea0: A young moose has made it's daily path go across my deck. Yesterday I came out of the door backward, because I was coming out with an armful of hockey sticks and turned around to the moose in my face and on the porch with me. Luckily it didn't kill me. It just gave a quick snort and walked slowly away. What sort of wildlife do you see at your front door?

ThroughTheDeckGlass: I've seen red foxes. Lots of birds. A few squirrels. A rare rabbit and chipmunk.

Grimsalt: Yada yada : geese, loons and mallards. DUDE! I can’t get over the part where you ALMOST DIED TODAY!! WTF you going to do with a random moose lurking on your front porch?! I’d freak out and install a shopkeep bell above that door. Can’t you pepper spray the deck to throw off the scent?
magikaru: The neighbors cat waltzes by sometimes, which makes my cat very upset. Other than that, you can see cows up on the hills from my place. And at night you can hear coyotes.

0Shea0: I also get Ermine tracks in the snow up to the door which are cute, but Ive never seen it.
MABBY: Some of the girls scouts around here can get kind of surly.
Woelf: Squirrels and rabbits mostly. When I took out the garbage bin this morning I saw tracks that were either from whitetail deer, or possibly escaped goats from our neighbors' yard.
