¿Question #224178?
mr3d: Can someone please explain this to me... My bank decided to charge me "negative interests" for having cash in my account. Of course, I still have a mortgage to pay (much more than the savings I have), but "it is not possible to pay it early, because of contract". So, even though I still *owe* the bank money, now I need to pay them on top of that for the "savings". Thankfully, they offered me a solution: I shall invest the cash in stocks that they will manage for me, for an upfront cost worth 5% of the amount plus additional yearly fees, with absolutely no guarantee that I will even break even... Who the heck came up with this banking system?
Woelf: What kind of shitty contract doesn't let you pay extra into your mortgage? I guess the rest of the bullshit from the bank mostly explains why it was purposely set up that way.

RealGuest: Bankers....nuff said
D00MSTALKER: The amazing D00MSTALKER claims not to have been involved.
0Shea0: Only rich people get to hoard money, the rest of us have to "stimulate the economy"
magikaru: I would instead offer them the following solution: go f*** yourselves, I’m changing banks
TomTi89: I've heard of the idea of negative interest rates, but I cannot entirely understand how this whole scenario has come to be.
pricero1: You're in the wrong bank and possibly the wrong country.
pwilz: Find a credit union if you can.
mattomaw: Banks are complete bullshit who only have their own interest at heart.
mr3d: I think I might seriously consider investing in GQcoin now. Will lose the money anyway, but at least have some fun.
