Fribian: Temperature was down to 26 yesterday morning here. Any pipes ever frozen and broken in your area?

TomTi89: I don't recall that happening. Had plenty of housing problems, but not that.
mattomaw: Our water pipe generally freezes once or twice a year.
pricero1: It would take a lower temperature than that to wreck the pipes.
MABBY: Our kitchen tap's pipes used to freeze when the temperature hit -30 for a while, but I got into the crawlspace in the summer and insulated the crap out of it and haven't had a problem since.
ocdspectrum: When I lived in Texas, yes.
Woelf: Not that I know of, but everything here is designed for it. Temperature here is UP to 15°F today.
