¿Question #224511?
rayzg: What is your least favourite fastener? I dislike zippers the most because they break too easily (and hard to repair), they jam too often, the waterproof ones are anything but, and body parts can get painfully stuck in them.
pricero1: I dislike buttons when the buttonhole is horizontal rather than vertical (this is the case for the bottom buttonhole on some of my shirts).
Woelf: Snaps. They either pop apart if you breath on them wrong, or they secure so tightly that you can hurt yourself trying to separate them. There is no middle ground.
mattomaw: Whatever form of fastener that is on the bottom of duvet covers. I really hate them for some reason.
MABBY: Buttons are pretty antiquated.
kswingruber: A truly well made zipper can be a wonderful thing... sounds like you're talking about chinese crap. MY least favorite "fastener" is when they use sticky black electricians tape to keep lengths of pipe or rope neatly coiled... blech!
0Shea0: I've recently gotten a pair of pants with a snap that is a hole all the way through on the socket side. These have not been great. It pops open when I sit down. (I just spent way to long unsuccessfully trying to find the technical name for this)
TomTi89: My own hands / the material itself. Ever have to cover your decency with only a towel or other such item? Never goes well for me! :P
Grimsalt: Zippers sure shorten the mileage, but I hate fancy magnets even more : they pull at the surrounding fabric and weaken the stitching holding them in place ; plus they demagnetize electronic chips over time ; plus they chip and crack on the slightest impact.
