¿Question #224550?
pricero1: Are you living the life you chose?
TomTi89: I did not choose to live in this town. In fact, I didn't want to move here, but I do like it here, actually, and can hardly imagine living anywhere else. I didn't choose to meet my wife, but I'm glad I did. I didn't choose to work at this hospital. I got in through nepotism, and it was A job, you know? I didn't choose this exact department either. The transfer just kind of happened naturally, but I enjoy working here, mostly. I didn't choose to be "frontline" staff during the first wave, but it happened, and of course that had its ups and its downs. I DID choose a lot of my leisure activities, and to learn to drive, and to actually get married. I guess, technically, I continue to choose my employment by virtue of not applying elsewhere. Life has definitely taken me to unexpected places, but it's been kind enough to make me feel like I have some choice in the matter.
mattomaw: I did not really choose my life. I sought of drifted into it.
0Shea0: Life is just kind of happening to me.
