¿Question #224629?
purplewurple: “Simply having a wonderful Christmastime” is such an obvious BS excuse. What do you think Paul McCartney was caught doing? (And why do Spotify playlists randomly include Christmas music?)
pricero1: I like the record, at least in the context of listening to Christmas records in the run-up to Christmas. You guys are obviously auditioning for the part of Scrooge.
Josey_23: Sniffing Yoko's hair while John was waiting for that tea next to the studio. They are not so subliminally working with the department stores to make it seem more acceptable when they pull out the Christmas decor in June.
Grimsalt: The irony. Highest mortality rates are in December. Many people's lives must have ended to this song, and surely because of it too.
MABBY: Someone must like that song.
Woelf: Cocaine, maybe? I never trust random Spotify playlists, or even the "radio" function, because they far too often veer into unwanted territory. The only time I'll look for other lists is when I plan to create a new one for something (like putting together multiple related soundtrack albums), and want to check if anyone else has already done most of the work.
