The first time was on a 70 mph limit road which I had never been on before and was driving alone, so I was keeping an eye on what was happening around me, only to realise I'd gone up to 80. That was fine, until the limit changed to 50...

Gilgermesh: In high school there was a stretch of road with no exits or shoulders so we knew there couldn't be any cops around. The car I drove then was able to get up to 127
Grimsalt: 165 Kmh / 103 Mph - in a 15 y/o Toyota Excel - in winter conditions, while overtaking two trucks on the highway in a curb - cause they were dangerously "playing" at boxing us in. Hated every second of it. Idiots like this are why I hate driving.
pricero1: Around 115mph on a quiet stretch of motorway. I wouldn't do that now.
MABBY: 120 mph, which is 200 km/hr. It was a deserted highway, late at night.

Woelf: 15+ years ago, shortly after getting my previous car (Dodge Magnum), I briefly confirmed that the computer limited it to 126mph. No idea where my current car (Subaru Outback) tops out, but a few times I've been over 80 very briefly on the highway.
