TomTi89: Wom(b)an sounds like a word to use online, and would cause people to wonder what the (b) stands for.
Grimsalt: I'm basically wondering aloud why we don't say Sheman (as in she-wolf). How come the wo- prefix in only feminine for woman (eg. not in wolf). So it must come from the word womb - meaning the word "woman" literally means something like "womb carrying man"?
